SWEET & SPICY GOCHUJANG CHICKEN

A korean dish that's super versatile - Eaten with rice as a meal, served in single pieces on a pick as an hor d'oeuvres, or as an accompaniment to your tall glass of icy cold beer. Delicious!

CHICKEN

I improvised for simplicity:

Chicken Thighs (Boneless)

Onions

Cornstarch


  1. Cut Chicken into Bitesize pieces

  2. Season with Salt & Pepper

  3. Add a little water

  4. Sprinkle Cornstarch on top and stir so that the cornstarch paste coats the chicken








SAUCE

As per the linked recipe above:



1/2 TB Minced Garlic

2 TB Sugar

2 TB Gochujang

3/4 tsp Sesame Oil

2 TB Soy Sauce






Deep fry chicken and set aside





  1. Fry some sliced Onions in oil for fragrance and flavor

  2. Add in fried Chicken

  3. Pour in Sauce

  4. Stir to coat

  5. Sprinkle toasted sesame seeds and (optional - Spring Onions)
