LEMON MERINGUE PIE

You can never go wrong with a Lemon Meringue Pie. Whether it's for a Potluck Party, or for the family at home, this iconic American pie is the creation of American domestic queen Eliza Leslie and appears in her 1847 cookbook. Everyone who is anyone in the cookbook circle has their own special recipe for this delicious pie and so, it's no surprise that there exists a gerzillion Lemon Meringue Pie recipes out there in the cookbook universe.
